Hundred Square - controlled

What it does
Hundred Square - controlled
is one of a pair of applets based on displaying red disks on a hundred square. It can be used in a controlled manner to explore number patterns. This applet has some similar features to its sister applet, Hundred Square - freeplay.

How to use it
When
Hundred Square - controlled is first opened, a blank 10x10 hundred square grid is displayed. Below the hundred square are two drop-down boxes for entering numbers. Enter into the left box any number (between 1 and 100), say 23, to see 23 disks displayed in the hundred square. Enter into the right box any number (between 1 and 10), say 5, to see these 23 disks displayed in rows of 5.
To clear all the disks, enter zero in the left box.
If there are more then 10 rows of disks to be displayed, because of lack of space, only the first 10 and last 2 rows are shown.
